Bubble Neb - 31st July to 1st Aug - 2X Barlow Plus 350D

As with the Cocoon Neb conditions not good. Haze + moon

Used a 2X APO barlow. The fainter image needed longer subs. A useful test of the quality of the barlow even if the image is not brilliant.

130mm APO at F12 ( 2X APO barlow) , 20 X 3 mins , 350D at 800 iso.

Superb image John!

I wonder if theres an explanation for whats causing the arc shape that forms the bubble? Would be interesting to work out what affects are causing it...

Thanks for the positive comments. With darker skies and reduced moon light I hope to apply all that I have learnt in the last few months and go for some long exposures. I have also got my hands on a 0.8X focal reducer. . So more images of M31 look certain.
