It's difficult to see what way the clouds going its just some heavy looking stuff. Let's keep fingers and toes crossed it doesn't follow me down.

Venus is looking sharp through my kitchen window, so reckon that's the omen to give it a go!

On nights at the mo but I've setup the Grab n go in the back garden for a quick observing session. Venus does indeed look beautiful as does the Moon.

Have you had a chance to have a look at your Baader zoom in the daylight Darren?

Just wondered if you could see what on earth they'd sent you?

yeah, checked the box too and it's definetely over sized if the 2" nosepiece or as Jamie suggested it's in fact an extender.

called the shop today and they are going to send me another 2" nosepiece, so all sorted

at least I can use the zoom in it's 1.25 form, was good to try out as will be using it in the 1.25 PST
