Orion setting over River Wye SGL 7

One of the great features of the Lucksall camp site for me is it's location next to the River Wye (apart from making it a dew and mist magnet). It is such a tranquil spot especially at sunset. There was some high cloud around with Orion shining brightly through.

This was shot with a modded Canon 550 with a 16-50mm F2.8 Tokina lens at F5.6. 8x2mins with an Astrotrac for the stars an 1x2mins non tracking for for everything else.

This was a lovely half hour, afterwards it was back to the torture of deep sky imaging and frustration!
