This years Owl

I normally use a 150P for imaging, but I bought some scope rings to mount the OTA from my 250PX Dob on the NEQ6 so I could have a go at some smaller targets. Here is my quick (90min in 3min subs) take on M97, the Owl nebula, with last year's best effort from the 150P for comparison.

This was more to practice guiding at 1.2m with a finderguider than an attempt at a deep sky image, but I am quite happy how it's turned out considering

Nice Rik, in the first you can really make out the face! The stars are more natural to me in the second though
