been busy lately....well more tired really...catchin up on a few zzzz's after all the imaging....still can't complain eh! i almost forgot to post the following...ngc4565:

Canon 40d

CLS light pollution filter

800 asa

12 subs ? min sorry can't remember exactly, tho i think 7 min each

50 flats ? tv mode

11 darks ? min

40 bias 1/8000th sec

stacked in DSS

would of, should of, could of:

used longer subs, and a lot more of them.

used a coma corrector had i of been able to afford one!

Great galaxy please come over to Suffolk and cloud bust these clouds they seem to have taken up permanent residence above my house sigh..

A success! There's a fine-grained noise that more subs would smooth out but it'all in place and you have a good background sky.

thanx guys and gals....& yes olly, ta for the advice. this, along with coma corrector, flat field panel etc will mean improvements...hopefully!
