registax 5 or 6

as it says, should i use v5 or v6?

just bought a xbox cam for a massive 98p. i've done the mods and tested it on a distant tree using sharpcap and all seems fine. just not sure if v6 of registax is glitch free as its a new version or should i use the tried and tested v5? thanks for your help in advance.

I seem to find that v6 tends to freeze during processing. No such problems with 5 though.

I would suggest 5 as it just plain works! R6 is Ok but you need to be aware that is very "buggy" and doesn't work at all well on any image with drift in it.

Yup I had 6 and found it troublesome so I now use 5 too.

+1 for v5 - I kept getting weird black triangle effects in the finished image when I used v6
