Messier Marathon this weekend

Because of the spacing of the Messier objects it's difficult, to say the least, to see them all in one observing session. You have to catch the first ones just as they are setting in the early evening and hope to get the last ones before sunrise. Good forward planning, a good horizon and a completely clear night are ingredients for success. As far as I know, there are only a few times of the year when this is possible, I presume that this weekend is one of them. ;)

Astronomy 4 everyone are planning an all nighter this weekend near Guildford. And there's the isle of Wight star party. I think about 104 of the 110 messiers are visible each night over the next fortnight or so.
