Much better seeing last night and quite pleased with the detail on this one, still using the trusty old spc900, but i have just sold my beloved nexstar, so i think its DFK time:hello2:

I think the dfk as its probably the easier one to use for a novice like myself, is the dbk mono?? i know these are more sensitive but don't you need filters and other things to get a colour image? forgive me if i have this all wrong:icon_scratch:

Dfk and Dbk are the same Jason, the only difference being the dfk has an in-built ir filter so you can't use IR pass or Uv pass filters with it.

The DMK is mono.

As Stuart said. Identical camera's except for that factory fitted filter. Pull it down, take filter out, chuck over left shoulder, it becomes a DBK lol.

So regarding the DBK21AU618.AS where can you get one?? i can't seem to find them for sale. Everyone just has the dfk or the more expensive 31 and 41:icon_scratch:
