My first WF night images - laugh if you like

Jupiter, Venus and a few stars taking during a very brief gap in the clouds.

A few minutes after the above image back came the clouds and here we have what seems to be a typical view to the south - lights in the villages in the valley and the lights of the nearest town reflected in the clouds with some trees in silhouette

Nothing to laugh at, I think I'm at the same level as you. All my shots looks like yours, it's a deep learning curve. It took me weeks to get my mount properly aligned and tracking.

You've got nice pinpoint stars there Gina, thats easier said than done without a bahtinov mask, and I'm assuming you've got the same lens as with what came with my 1100D which focuses beyond infinity:D The 1100D body is a cracking low noise camera for AP though:)
