Offers on Eyepieces

Hi Does anyone know if the eyepiece set that is discounted by OVL for Skywatcher or Tal scope purchasers are good quality and worth getting?

If you mean the one at the top of this web page, then I think there are better eyepiece choices around:

SKY-WATCHER LER EYEPIECE & FILTER SET - by OVL

I've used a few of the ones in that set and found them very mediocre.

It's probably better to think about getting a couple of Vixen NPL or the BST Explorer eyepieces which will give much more satisfaction I think. The Vixens are around £30 each and the BST's around £42 I believe.

I have a Tal1. Had it a short time, but I can all ready see that a better range of EPs will be useful.

have you seen the celestron eypices and filter kit??

it has 7 filters and 6 eyepices plus X2 barlow

The Celestron set is a much better one than the Sky Watcher, but I would take John's advice, look around at some of the individual ep's. The Vixen and BST's (now called StarGuider) recommended are much better quality and I think you should go for either of these. Both stunning ep's.
