nikon 1 telescope adapter

Hi i have come into ownership of a nikon 1 j1 camera

what i am after is somehow getting this camera connected to the scope

i know i need a tmount but its the adapter im after so i was wondering if any one owns one of these cameras and if they managed to find a adapter

i think i have worded that right.

It's a new mount design, I don't think there's a compatible t-ring available yet

This will give you a standard Nikon mount for DSLR Nikkor lenses which you could then attach a normal Nikon T-Ring adaptor too. Over £200 mind.

No doubt there will soon be a direct T-ring adaptor available on eBay. There are already some adaptors for M42 lenses, C-mount etc. You may find you can get one of these and and fit a T2 mount ring as most are modular, just need to undo grub screws.

yeah i seen that ridicolous price but i thought theres no way im paying that

so if i get one of them c mounts then that will take a t mount etc

and is it easy to undo the grub screws or will i need some specilist equipment (you never know in this hobby)

How did you get on with the mount, and how successfull is the J1 with a telescope?
