White light with DSLR 6/3/2012

Got a bad case of onion rings today. Not sure why but I don't have time to fix it. I normally stack about 80 or so to do this properly, but these are a single shot and a 100% crop.

Great picture! Perhaps one or two aren't aligned properly giving the rings, may be worth a check because this is a lovely image.

Either that or maybe some cloud - even a tiny bit can sometimes cause stacking problems as the stacking software tries to "match it up", may only be on one or two subs.

Anyway - It's nice to see such a good view of those huge spot groups.

I think the problem is in the processing, because this isn't a stack. It's just a single exposure.
