Saturn and redone Mars (200p Auto Dob)

Saturn from Friday morning, quite happy with this one shame its so low in the sky and a reprocessed mars done through AS2 then Reg 6 and gimp. Saturn was 6 min at about 4000 frames using about 70% Seeing was good when i imaged Saturn and it looked amazing at 320x through the Dob.

Were these done using stacked barlows? Colour noise reduction works well to reduce the blue tinge...not sure if thats caused by stacking the lenses?

Hi Stuart, yes this was with stacked barlows. They do suffer from blue tinge as they are only cheap ones about £30 each, i have reduced it using curves in gimp i think this scope is more sensitive to cheap barlows than the 4se. The tracking is working well now, in fact I'd say better than the 4se i only had to make a few corrections in a 6 min avi. I've added a counter weight made from strips of lead about 400grams at the base of the tube and that works wonders with the tracking at high mag/f ratio...
