I managed to be in the right place at the right time tonight....I was out videoing Jupiter for my 6yr old to show at school tomorrow, when I managed to see and record a meteor shoot past!

Thank God I came across this post.

I was eyeing up Procyon (in the East) when I came across a similar thing. Didn't know what it was. Kinda thought it might have been a satellite or something, but your video confirms that I saw my first ever meteor! \o/
