Given The Bird!

Everybody seems to be trying Solar stuff of late so I thought I'd give it go. I set the scope up in the garden and left it to reach ambient temperature. (I had important things to do indoors..cool drink, fag etc.) On returning I found it had been subjected to

an assault by one of our avian 'friends',so in true CSI fashion I photographed and examined the evidence!

The main suspect is a seagull of some type so I'm reporting this attack to the ESA. That's not the European Space Agency

but the Eliminate Seagulls Association!

Gid you get it off without damage?

Going slightly off topic here, my old Clio got pooped on a few years ago and I tried to clean it off with a bit o' tissue. When I came to washing the car properly I noticed the poop had scratched the window in the same style stroke I used to wipe it off. Heaven forbid bird poo should ever hit a primary.... :insects1:

OooooooopS!

Reminds me of the day I went to Inverness to do some work on a customers brand new Mazda 6.

Met the customer, he gave me the keys and said it was blue and parked away from the building to avoid the gulls, which are a real problem around the industrial area. The only Mazda in the car park that I could find had a white roof, screen, front and rear, and boot!!! It had only been parked there for 30 minutes!

Silly **99** had parked under a lighting pole and the gulls used it as a toilet, needless to say the job was delayed until he had it cleaned.

the other night i heard a scuffling in the undergrowth- though it was a rat when this small creature belted past- then heard a scuffling very close by- looked down - twas a hedhog- making what can only be described as a hissing noise as i approached it- must have been one of those cobra hedgehogs- was cute apart from the hissing mind :)
