Celestron X-Cel LX eyepiece

Hi all, can anyone advise if they have any of these eyepieces and how they perform. Am looking at them for use on a refractor 120. thanks.

Only niggle I have with mine is even with 16mm eye relief, they feel a fraction tight with my spectacles. I find it more comfortable to take them off for observing, whereas I didn't with the Hyperion.

However for the performance increase over the Hyperion at edge correction, it's a no-brainer. X-Cel LX every time.

i got the 7mm and 18 mm yesterday still not had a night out yet if they any good am have in the lot ,just got to wait for the clouds to clear now they look nice not has big as most eps will let you no how they work in th f5 300p when i get chance

i got the 18mm and 7 mm yesterday just had 2 great hours with my 300p f 1500mm they are mega for the price high contrast and brightness and the 7mm on Jupiter with a neodymium filter was unreal the amount of detail ...

I have a 24mm and 9mm.

I would highly recommend them. I use them with a nexstar 6 and 12" Dob.

hi there i was going to get the 9mm but thought the 7 would be better for splitting doubles,and it is the 24 is the next one and the 12

Of the LX range, you get a 25,18,12,9,7,5 and 2.5mm
