QHY5 and windows 7 any issues?

Hi all. I have just bought a QHY5 but can't get any image to appear on screen in SarpCap, PHD guiding and WX Astro. I'm using a notebook running windows 7. Any advice from anyone who has had similar problems appreciated. Beginning to think the camera is fauly. Is thewre a way to test?

I use my QHY5 on Win 7 with no problems. Do you have all the drivers installed correctly?

you need to download the lates drivers i had this problem let me see if i can find the site

Same here, QHY5 with Win 7 Starter 32bit, eMachine Netbook no problems.

I use as Ascom (Late) Camera in PHD 1.13.1.

Ok, getting shades of light and dark when testing indoors using the QGVideo program, but PHD etc still show black screen. I presume I'm not selecting something in software that I should but at least the camera seems to be working. I'll keep trying. Any other programs people recommend for guiding or capturing?

if your using it with the st80 then to get focus people normaly need some sort of extension tube to achive focus. many people use a barlow with the galss taken out.
