LX10 advise please

Hi all

Many of you are prob aware i am the proud new owner of Helens Meade LX10.

As you do before taking the plunge and going for an icey nights observing, i wanted to check a few things out.

The BIGGEST problem i have is.

The lack of a decent box.

As i live in a light polluted area, travelling with this new toy is going to be a necessity. Meade never produced a case for this model for some reason.

Would anyone happen to know where i could get a case from?

I have looked in homebase with a view to getting something in there, but nothing seems to fit the bill.

any advise would be most greafully recieved.

Rother valley optics do them but they are £400. Makes you want to go ouch.

I was looking at the instrument again last night, she is quite massive.

I might just have to find a way to utilise the box i think

Can you not adapt one of those large plastic storage boxes from B&Q

Thats what i did for my C8 and it works fine
