Mars Previewer II

Sky 7 Telescopes Mars previewer II isn't compatible with Windows 7. Does anyone know of an alternative?

Go to Sky and Telescope website where they have an interactive observing tool that gives you the same information (bottom of the home page).

The object of the original program is so you can run it on your local computer without having to be online. While your suggestion is valid, it would be better if the original developer would update his program to run under Win 7.

The only problem I'm experiencing is that "Auto Redraw" causes a program crash. Other than that it seems to be working fine.

Have you got bigger issues?

It is important to only download Mars Previewer II from the Sky and Telescope website. A while ago there were reports that copies from many alternative sites were infected with a virus.
