Timelapse & Startrails

I've been experimenting with making timelapses videos of the stars, and put together this:

And also startrails:

Airliners look good zooming through the shot in timelapse, but they kinda spoil trails.

Very nice timelapse Dave, well done. The last sequence works really well with the planes darting across the growing star trails. Brilliant.

Startrails - Startrails application - is a program that many people use for combining shorter exposures into startrail images. It's simple to use - literally just input all the desired images and hit a button.

I now use StarStax - Software - StarStaX - it does the same thing, but has a few more options.
