My best Saturn and first with eyepiece projection

I think this is definately my best Saturn yet. Could it be because I collimated my scope before imaging or is eyepiece projection just better than prime focus or was the seeing particularly good last night?

Whatever, I'm very happy just now.

That's a nice image, well done.

It could have been a combination of good collimation and 'seeing', but whatever it was, the end result was good.

I had a peek at your image in Photoshop. Is that a moon shadow on the rings to the right? I tried an enlargement but

still not sure. I'm sure some of the guys here will be able to say if there was a moon in the right position at the time.

Anyway, it's a fine shot.
