M51

Hi All,

Had a clear night on Sunday(first in ages) so set up and took some shots of M51. Usual Setup MN190 and an Olympus EPL1. Comprised of 22 x 1min Subs at ISO 3200 and 5x 1 min Darks. Stacked in DSS, and then randomly tweaked (I mean delicately processed) in Gimp.

Hi QM - Yup it was -3C but fortunately I was in the garden so could nip in for coffee. It may even have reduced some of the noise on the camera!! Try some medicinal Christmas Cheer for the cold. Always helps me ;-)

I tried a couple of 10 min subs on this as I was packing away the other night and can hardly see mine

Nothing a good night under the stars wont cure cant drink im on beta blockers but lemsips are fairly tasty
