Sky Sync on NEQ6

Anyone using the Sky Sync on an NEQ6 mount?

Details says it works on any Celestron Computerized telescope, but I've been around long enough to know that people definiation of 'any' is not always the same and it certainly doesnt mean 'all'.

Alternatively, use EQMOD to link your mount and remotely control it via a laptop running a freeware sky chart i.e. Cartes du Ciel. Optionally use a wired or wireless game controller for manual slewing/alignment..... and buy a USB GPS dongle from Maplin for £20.

I think you answered your own question.The Skywatcher EQ6 isn't a Celestron mount so the SkySyn probably wouldn't work.

I was under the skywatchers was celestron but I guess not.
