Earthshine 28/11/11

First attemp at an Earthshine shot.

This is a blend of two shots, one at 3.2sec and the other at 1/15sec, both at ISO200 and through an f6 8in GSO newtonian.

RAC, that earthshine gives an interesting effect. Very ethereal IMO. Excellent!

Thanks Pibbles and Telrad. For some reason i find this shot very easy to look at and it has a more non 2d look about it than my other shots. I had to add the shorter exposure shot in as it was a little boring without detail on the light side.

Excellent job! The blending has worked really well IMO. I like the way some of the lunar features creep from the sunlit into earthlit areas. Nice one.
