A swift 2h 30min of these on the 17th November. The aim was to take more on the 18th, which I did, but they were ruined by dew!! "Bother" said Bizibilder! ED80 PRO and Canon 1000D, 5min subs at ISO 800. Guided with QHY5 and PHD, scope control with EQMOD.

Niiiiice.

The ED80 is just about the perfect fov to get the Pleiades in isn't it!

Don't worry about the dew... I lost eight 6 min subs the other week because I didn't notice dew on the lens because my dew heater was turned down too low! Won't make that mistake again :-)

I like it!! :)

Hope i can one day get similar results as well with the more faint stuff visible, but need to get my guiding sorted first so i can make a mosaic. Sometimes wich i had a shorter focal lengt. Guess i'll just do it the easy way and get a full-frame DSLR for when i need wider FOV... :)

why do your stars have a horizontal line on them, btw? I didn't know you had anything in that scope that would create it?
