Imaging Source Firewire question.

It's 6 pin to 6 pin on a Mac but if you're using a firewire enabled PC like the Sony's you may need a 4 pin to 6 pin. The IS camera has a 6 pin port on it - it all depends on whether your firewire port is the same as the camera's in which case it's 6 pin to 6pin or if it's smaller then it's 4 pin to 6 pin...

On my PCMCIA card it has a separate 2mm(?) 12V power connection (The DMK etc need this extra power - a straight 6pin firewire won't do the job.....)

I use an ebay power cable which has the 6 pin either end but also an "extra" 12V power connector to the PCMCIA card....
