Moving to a pier

It's a CI700, bought here on Stargazers From Tom; a great stable mount though a little long in the tooth.

Some would say it's the match or better of the venerable G11, iv'e seen images taken with this type of mount of which i can only be envious.

Looks great! I assume you will be leaving the mount on the pier permanently, what are you using for protection? I suppose whatever you use the mount will still dew up overnight so there must be some degree of corrosion?

Ta Johnboy, luckily the other half was a sewing machinist and with an old caravan awning not being used she made up several covers for various scopes/ set ups, no issues with corrosion or damp.

Err forgive the rather odd appearance of the photo, it's not meant to look like a headless flashing ghost!!!
