Managed to get out on Tuesday night and finally got something half decent. Only managed 6 subs at 500s each (meant to have been 600 but mistyped!) . WO FLT98 + QHY8Pro.

Nice shot! I little grainy, but that's to be expected for six subs. Try to grab 15 or more and I'll bet this will really sing!

Yes it'll be interesting how it will compare with more subs. Of course the seeing will be different when I try it again, but it should improve. I think some of the graininess was due to a bit over zealous use of filters in photoshop.

Nice capture! love the colours. hope to have a stab at this one sometime this winter.
