Help with a desk top scope?

Can anyone advise please

We was away camping/stargazing this weekend gone

and found I am unable to stand (bad back) looking through o/h Dob very long, well any scope you have to stand at really.

so does anyone know of a not too expensive

but good desk top scope?

or I will just have to sit all the time with the binoculars ;o(

Have you thought about an observing chair??. It may worth investing in that and keeping your dob!.

I'd suggest an Al-Az mount and refractor. The iOptron Minitower or Cube are good if you want Go To and tracking or SW do a manual Alt Az that people like. You could then sit and observe. You can do likewise with the various motorized Alt-Az SCTs as well. I always sit to observe when I can because you see more. No doubt about it. If you are jittering the image is jittering!

we mainly stargaze when we go away with the caravan

and friends join us so I need to be social and be outdoors with them.lol

at home I use bins while sat in my swivel chair

tried to get the chair through the caravan door but failed .lol

I'm in a wheelchair and i use the Heritage. On a table it would be too tall to observe while seated. I simply sit it on the ground and observe from my chair. So the Heritage and a camping chair would be ideal.
