Hi man, another sub-novice here and local to you too: Belper again :D

Scarthin books in Cromford have a small selection of astronomy books and star charts on the top floor so it might be worth having a root around in there. Having said that, I'm just off to Amazon to check out Turn Left at Orion...

All newtonians will show an inverted image, and it's also wrong way round too

"Inverted" as used above is often misconstrued - which is why that chap produced the "Lunar Field Atlas" in a format that's of no use to anyone! (i.e. not the Newtonian owners that he thought he was designing it for).

A Newtonian image is simply upside-down, that's all (i.e. rotated 180 degrees)

No "reversal" is involved.
