Was all set up and ready to go last night. Watched Have I Got News For You. Went back outside, polar aligned... small cloud, clear sky, bit more cloud, clear patch, blanket of cloud. Start packing up, then WOW amazing views of Andromeda , well worth the wait.

It is always worth pretending to pack away to see if the clouds take the bait! Nothing worse that packing up , going to bed only to wake up a little later and see clear skies. Glad it worked out for you in the end.
