  1. Simplest way to overcome lack of inward focuser travel is to use your Barlow. This will bring the focal point nearer to the camera, and you should get it to focus. Downside is that it obviously doubles the magnification. The other thing I've tried is to seeks the ep holder on the focuser draw tube unscrews. Might be a chance that your t ring will screw straight into it. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  2. When I bought the Telrad 3 months ago I aligned it on a church tower a mile and a half away. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  3. Mine is up the top right next to the existing finder. That's on a small reflector. Works just fine Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  4. Can usually get it with the 130 newt. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  5. Got mine for Christmas. Brilliant no frills, just the job when used alongside a Planisphere. Shows how to find stuff and what to expect to see. Like the spiral bound bit, makes it very practical when using outdoors.
  6. Hi Dony, hope you find the forum useful Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  7. Yeah I can attach the t ring directly to the focuser without using the nosepiece . Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  8. Yup the barlow seems to work. Thanks for that. There is a direct thread as well 'under' the end piece of the focuser, but I don't have anything else to fit that. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  9. Perfect...Theres a church tower I can use about 1.5 miles away
  10. Another thought..is there any value in trying to focus on something in daylight to see if I can get anywhere close to half decent focusing? At least so I can try out different setups to see if Im in the right ball park?
  11. Aha! I shall check that right away Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  12. I've also looked into upgrading the focuser, and to be honest I d be better off buying a new scope on a better mount, and using the 130 to take on holiday in the car! Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  13. It did seem that outward travel was the issue, but that contradicts everything else Ive read so far. So next clear night I'm going to take a series of shots across the range to confirm. I'm going to make a Bhatinov as well. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
  14. I bought a K-m about three years ago, which I think was replaced by the K- x. Absolutely love it, superb camera. Just annoying it seems everywhere stocks Nikon, Sony and Canon, but Pentax bits are much harder to find. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk. Skywatcher 130. 9mm 12mm 15mm 20mm 32mm revelation eps. Meade 10 x 50 bins.
