Orionids SW UK

Hi all, I've tried to search for an Orionids post but can't find one just now. I live in the south west of the UK. (NR Bath, rural). I'm trying to get views on the best times for the expected Orionids peak this FRI/SAT. Thinking of 2 hours before dawn Sat morning. Thanks.

They'l be originating around Betelgeuse so any time after that rises will be good i imagine (any time after about 1am should be fine, though i don't know when the official peak will be).

Orionids are due to peak on the 21st. Have a look at this website for more info

hi this info was given to me by a freind they will be in area of orion and gemini peaking around saturday at 02.00 and 05.00 with up to 20-30 meteors p/h thats 2-3 per min if viewing is poor try fri or sunday .hope this is true as i will be out as well at that time.
