Meade lx80 mount

Anyone heard anything about the lx80 mounts or any reviews on them yet?

They've not been released yet. Due out next month in the US so it shouldn't be much longer before we see some real info.

Spoke to telescope house yesterday.

They are not expected in the uk untill January.

Guess ill have to wait but it does look very nice having the option to almost just set it down and star align in AZ mode and if i feel like doing deep sky photos at any time just set it up as EQ. i think Meade are trying to take back what they have lost over the past couple of years. its nice to see

Seems to have a lot in the offering for price. If it perfoms well in both (all3) modes will be almost too tempting to resist.
