first attempt at astrophotography,thats if holding a digital camera up to the eye piece counts i have a very long road ahead to learn all i can and hope one day to be able to purchase the right equipment so that i can get photos even half as good as the ones ive seen on this forum.

The Jupiter shot is actually excellent for an afocal image.

thank you guys,i was very pleased with these as my first try,but i know i have a long way to go the jupiter shot was one of about 20,19 of which were total rubbish lol,but very happy to get just this one photo of jupiter.

you have done more than just try, some great images there, we all start out holding camera to ep, get your self a digiscope adaptor that mounts camera to the ep

well worth getting one, if you see the images me and astropete take it will give you an idea how well they work
