I saw this one tonight. Was surprisingly easy at under mag. 8. It was clearly visible with 15x70s and even with 8x30 binoculars at a stretch...

Best views in the dob at about 150x though - nice round smudge, moving noticeably over 90 minutes. Didn't see a tail though, or even elongation...

What have others observed it with? Managed the tail?

hi i seen it last night with a 12" dob it was not bad no trail ,but i did move i kept go in back 20 mm ep

yes!!! saw it last night,a bit disappointing if i am honest.but i did manage to image it as well

I saw it the night of 28th Sept in my 15x70 binoculars. I don't know whether it was because of light pollution but I really struggled to see it. I had to pin down the exact location and then I could barely see a faint smudge of nebulosity.

I must have a look at this myself tonight, for anyone who's having trouble finding it here are the coordinates for tonights viewing: RA:18h 9:40m Dec: +19deg 23.81' should be around mag 7

Saw it tonight using 15X70 bins, a faint patch without clear shape.
