als reticle and windows7 problem installing

Has anyone had problems installing als reticle on windows7 machine. I can install it on my windows xp computer, but i need it on my laptop which is windows7.

I get the following error message during installation:

The following error occurred attempting to install ptmp33146\AlsReticuleV3.application " the system cannot find the file specified"

Any help appreciated

Run it in XP compatibility mode or run as administrator?

V3.2 seems to run under Win7 OK?

I find that some 64 bit apps dont actually work on win 7 64bit lol I end up having to use the 32bit version under the WOW subsystem,.... Blender, VirtualBox all don't work as 64bit apps lol.

32bit or 64 bit windows 7 and is the app 32 or 64 bit?

I assume win 7 64 bit as all 4gb ram laptop machines come with 64bit OEM installed.

I also assume most apps are 32bit.

Thanks for the replies but i still cant get Als reticle to set up om my windows7 laptop. I have tried installling it from removeable drive and frrom my hard disk. It must be something specific to my computer. Thanks Stepppenwolf, i have tried the latest version link but still get same error message after clicking on the setup file.

64 bit windows 7. I dont know whethere it is 64bit or 32bit app

Runs on my Win7 64 bit lappy with no problems - can't halp otherwise.

Are you logged in as Administrator and running the program via administrator settings?
