First Lunar Attempt

Hey guys,

This is my first attempt at astrophotography and thought I would post it to get some feedback.

This was taken Aug 6, 2011 (posted a little late) at approx 2300.

ISO:1600

Exposure:1/160 sec

Taken through a Celestron Nexstar 6 SE and a Nikon D3100 DSLR camera.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Andrew

That's a cracking shot - a heck of a lot better than my first attempt. My only comment (since you've asked for feedback) is that the limb is slightly over-exposed. The best way to deal with that is to "bracket" a series of exposures of different durations, and see which one looks best.

Hope that's constructive.

Steve
