prokyon
Hi folks!Yesterday I have seen moon dogs for the 1st time in my life. These are bright spots on a lunar halo. You can even see the spectral colours. They are caused by the refraction of moonlight by hexagonal-plate-shaped ice crystals in cirrus clouds. The bright star near by the moon is Jupiter. Done with the Canon 5D and the Canon EF 50mmCheersWerner
