The tripod was easy to make. I bought a cheapo ali tripod and scavenged all of the parts like the central hub etc to make life easier.

other than those, it's just 9 straight pieces of wood all about the same length.

I need to get a wooden tripod as the aluminum one i have at the moment is not very good at dampening vibrations.
