Moon in RGB 11-09-2011

Yesterday it was for 2 hours a clear sky here and I decided to image the moon in RGB. I used an Astro-professional ED110 in combination with a DMK21 together the 12 images needed for a mosaic in every color band. After stacking, merging and combining in RGB I used some techniques to bring out the colors of the different geological phenomenon on the moon.

Here is the result:

I like these colour saturated moons, in colour it must have made the whole thing much more time consuming 36 pieces rather than 12, processing and colour blending each 12. is a lot of work. But worth the result. Did you make a version with the colour less saturated, as a subtle colour version ?
