CdC Scope Control

Out of interest, is there any way of doing this in Carte du Ciel?

View -> Position (enter RA/DEC) then Slew/Sync maybe? I haven't had CdC controlling any of the scopes in anger...

No.

I had to use EQMOD to GOTO a nominated RA&Dec

View-Position (enter RA/DEC) - OK....will move screen pointer to position......Then hit the Slew icon......and scope will goto position.

I tried that but it just seems to set the centre of the view. Setting the FOV to a low number compresses the view but the cursor is still "free"...

Next time I set up the scope I'll double check this option in CdC.

Thanks Martin. Just did a quick trial and that works. It would nice, though, to be able to save the co-ordinates in an editable file rather than type them in each time. I wonder if there is anywhere you can do this in CdC?
