Imaging stars with webcam?

I have another...is it possible to image stars with a webcam? If so is there a tutorial for such??

What mount do you have? does it track?

i took this with a web cam taking with a neximage staked in regi on 200p heq5 pro hope it helps

Yes it is possible but you will need the webcam to be LX (Long Exposure) modified - You will find a bunch of experts at this on the "Astronomy Shed" forum. This weeks Picture of the week (for this week) on that forum shows just what you CAN do with a webcam!!
