Jupiter- photos and video

I had a tremendous viewing Jupiter and moons tonight. I don't have the right equipment for taking pics through my telescope but just for fun I gave it a try. I am submitting two pictures I took with my KodakZ812 digital camera. I couldn't upload the video, wrong file type

If these are just shots through the eyepiece then they are great! Lots of detail and 3 moons!!

The yellow thing in the corner is part of the date on the pic.

I've never had those good a results. To see the moons, the planet is over-exposed, and to see the planet, the moons are underexposed.

I have considered experimenting with a "stack" of images, some short for the disk, and some longer for the moons, but image scale would probably still be a problem because the biggest optics I have are a Celestron 8" F:10

( sorry about the mixture of Metric and American dimensions, but I see even the European posters mixing them up, so I guess everybody is used to it ? Please advise )
