First attempt

Here my first attempt at a nebular it was meant to be the Andromeda nebular but i am not sure what happened so any helpful hints will be great.

All i used was a Meade LX90 and a canon 350D ISO200 no filters(was that my mistake)

Andromeda nebula? Is that not the Orion Nebula? Looks like it aint had enough exposure.

You have some nebulosity there Rob, I can see it around the trapizium. Play around with it in your graphics prog. I'm sure you can bring it out more.

I got this from just from adjusting the brightness and contrast:

You need loads more exposure Rob. Try ISO1600 as well to brighten the image. Good start though, the stars are small and round, that's the hard bit sorted.
