Solar disk mosaic 160811

First attempt at a solar mosaic using a PST, DMK41 and 2.5x Powermate.

There is some banding but I can't see an easy way to remove it in Autopano Giga 2. I did try ICE but it just didn't like making the mosaic at all.

After all the effort of putting it together I put the wrong caption on it, it was taken at 16:41 today 16/08/11

I've uploaded corrected versions so the date and time are now accurate. Sorry for any hassle this caused

Nice one Kev! In autopano giga, have you tried experimenting with the blending options? I found if I set mine to "exposure" it worked best...

I'll try those this evening Smerral, I tried Multiband and the option below Multiband, I don't recall the process name at this moment. Autopano didn't like the Proms set of videos at all so those are manually stitched and blended in PS.

Under panorama try "exposure", and under render set to "linear" - it worked fairly well for me....

This is a version run through the DBE process in PixInsight.

All look pretty good to me - I didn't comment earlier as the works monitor is iffy to say the least...less banding on the DBE version...
