Love those colour shots Freddy just beautiful! Has it made a big difference removing the stock DFK IR blocking filter? Do you think the stock filter is a big handicap?

I really can't tell, I had it removed while doing a sensor cleaning job and had a regular IR filter screwed on on the nose to protect it from dust, but actually I didnt see any difference on the color captures.

Nice shots Freddy, this is what i was saying to Stuart, i think the differences were somewhat blown out of propotion between the DFK DBK. yes i prefered the DBK but it wasnt exactly night and day i didnt think, your comments are similar to mine. Stuart you can at some point get the imaging source to turn the cam into a DBK at a later stage. its not that expensive about 60 quid if i remember plus post to germany

Thanks fellas! Yeah I think I will stick with the DFK. Cloud is my biggest worry at the moment lol
