can anyone tel me how to set an avatar.

Just click on where it says 'Control Panel' just below the SGL logo. Then look down the menu for Edit Avatar.

You can add a custom avatar providing its size is no more than 80x80 pixels or 250kb

Also while your in there, you'll notice that there are two.

One of them is for your profile picture, and the other is for the avatar that appears when you post.

They can be different, which is why they are separate.
