My first few Jupiters: 31 July 2011

Finally got out and stayed awake :) If you turn up the brightness on the third you can make out Callisto as well as the others, but you really wash out Jupiter (I wonder if this computer can handle photoshop :))

It was the C100EDR on an undriven CG5. SPC900 (880) through a netbook with sharpcap.

The last one was one of the better AVIs, but I also started playing with deringing in Registax 5.1.

Registax 6 just wouldn't process these AVIs properly - Both 5.1 and 6 get thrown off by the image moving across the screen and then being reset to the start; the difference is that 5.1 asks to be realigned when it loses the plot, but 6 seems to just carry on. This means that when it's stacked I get an image of jupiter with a long smear over the top :)

Once I get the EQ5 motors it'll be fine.
