Hi all

First time i'd tried the new 1000D.

Single 20 sec exposure on fixed tripod (really need a cls clip filter!)

Will be doing longer exposures soon with the new ra driven eq5.

I'm just starting up again as i lost all of my kit last year, but i'm trying to build up my arsenal again! Thought getting the dslr was a good start and seeing some of the images you guys have took with just the lens are stunning

its great could you not take about 20 and some darks and stack them,but still the trees make for a great shot

I should have taken more in hindsight but thought with it being on the fixed tripod that wouldnt work?

Must rembember to take some darks as well!

hi again i did this a while ago with the 10d on a tripod, i keep adding to the file. when i get about 2 hours worth a will re satck ,stick at it i wish now i would have got some trees in the pic like yours. a might try that this weekend if it clears cheers pat if ya get a min take a look at the link

ps get some darks and flats in there your great pic ,will be greater
